Tea School

Maritime Tea Route connects the tea trade between China and Europe, our school is committed to establishing sensory tea connections based on firsthand practical experience of tea production sources. In the historic building of the Old Post Office, you can experience a whole Chinese tea journey in Alfeld (Leine), Germany. Scientific and systematic learning of tea, the school provides science popularization and professional education related to tea science, culture, history, etc..

Tea Plantation

Tea trees were first domesticated and planted in China, and in the 17th century, tea trees were planted in Europe. Our tea garden was established in 2016, located in Steinberg Leine Uplands of Germany, on the slope in the south of the hill adjacent to Seven Hills (fame as a result of the fair tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), facing Wispe, a branch of the Leine River. It is a comprehensive tea garden with production, science and culture education, and ecological sustainability in combination with fruits and vegetables planting and livestock breeding.

Ceramic Studio

Duingen is the largest ceramic town in the clay pits area between Leine and Weser rivers, known as “Pottland”. From the Middle Ages until the 19th century, it was the center of stoneware production in Germany. Our studio inherits and continues the local German and remote Chinese ceramic tradition, producing ceramic teaware and providing workshop. We also take the local mysterious spring water to brew tea, Apenteichquelle which can be traced back to sacrificial activities since the Neolithic Age. According to local conditions, we not only produce tea, but also use spring water and clay to brew tea and make teaware, experience the integration of German and Chinese tea culture.
